Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Perfection

What if our perception of perfection was distorted. That what we thought was the image of perfection was really a lie. When I think of perfection in America, I think of beauty, well dressed, perfect body, dream home, family, pet, and luxury vehicle. But is this God’s vision of perfection ? Or Satan’s picture for us to imitate?

Woman tend to hold one another to these unrealistic meticulous standard, and we shut one another out to hide our flaws. Because secretly we want people to believe we have this picture perfect life, which logic would tell us most people do not have. Could it be satan’s plan to divide or keep us in this rat race of higher achievement and self worship?

Do you know what the bible says perfection is? Its not based on what all you have, how you look, or what rank or what you can do like society leads us to think its more about your heart.

1 Kings 8:61

Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord our God, to walk in his

statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

1 Chronicles 28:9

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

So today I ask you whose perfection are you seeking? Gods or satans.

The bible tells us to choose daily and to dye daily for Christ. Below I have listed the references.

Joshua 24:15King James Version (KJV)

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Luke 9:23 - And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Matthew 16: 26-27
