Typical Struggles and Solution

Finding time to pray and read the Bible- The enemy is using social media, our favorite television shows, hobbies, and laziness as distraction to learning more about God and spending time building our relationship through prayer.

Solution: Get a schedule/ routine with prayer and reading your word. I have an app on my phone called You version Holy Bible. It is a free app that gives daily scriptures.

Google scriptures that have to do with something that you are struggling with in your life whether it be health or guidance. God has an answer in His word. Find a quiet place away from distractions (i.e. cell phones, t.v., people)

Inability to understand the scripture- even the disciples didn’t understand what Jesus was saying until it was revealed to them.

Solution- ask god to reveal the scriptures to you and keep reading until he does.

Control of Emotions- If you find yourself worried, anxious, unhappy, angry, thinking about money all the time. Any thoughts outside of love, that puts you in a state of distress; you are under enemy attack.

Solution: When any thoughts outside of love occur. In your mind or out loud, tell satan that he cant stay here anymore and any spirit not of God must go to the fire in Jesus name! Repeat this until your mind is free as God intended our minds to be.

Success Driven life- It is nothing wrong with having a career, but your career should not take precedent over your relationship with God, your family, or be the primary focus of your life. This is when we start turning our careers into idols and try to take control of our own fates through throwing everything we have into our careers.

Solution: Ask God to let his will for your life be your will for your life and to take out any thoughts that do not line up with His will in Jesus name. I would like to remind you of when satan tried to use Peter to convince Jesus from going to die on calvary. Jesus response was get thee hence satan. because it was not the will of God for Him to stay.

Psalms 119:15 - I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

1 Corinthians 7:35 - And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

Matthew 6:24-34 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

John 12:16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Matthew 4:8-11

Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit. The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh. Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit. Ecclesiastes 4:4-6
